• During rapid blood clotting (5 minutes) and serum separation, just 15 minutes after collection and centrifugation (RCF 1.2 / 3000 RPM), the gel positions itself between the serum and blood cells.
• This feature ensures complete fibrin removal, producing clear serum.
• Additionally, due to the specific type of gel and absence of hemolysis or air bubbles in the serum, samples can be safely used with probes and needles in automated analyzers without risk of damage.
• These tubes allow storage and preservation of patient samples without serum separation at -70°C, and thawing does not affect serum appearance or indices, which is another advantage.
